Black beetle w/ red elytra lurking near ground-nesting bees - Tricrania sanguinipennis

Size: 1 cm
I'm guessing this is Tricrania sanguinipennis. Came to that by Googling around for parasites of ground-nesting bees (common in that part of my garden). Thanks for any help.
