Entomobryomorpha - Isotomurus palustris

Entomobryomorpha - Isotomurus palustris
Packwood, Lewis County, Washington, USA
January 4, 2019
Size: 3 mm
Macrosetae on the last abdominal segments makes it Isotomurus, if I have that right. It seems to match up well in pattern with Isotomurus nr pseudopalustris f. gervaisi but I could easily be missing something.

Isotomurus palustris forma pseudopalustris
Interesting specimen.
At the moment European authors define different species for the different colour forms in Isotomurus. If this was a European specimen, it would be called I. pseudopalustris. But American authors lump all different colour forms of I. palustris lookalikes together in one species: I. palustris. Awaiting a formal revision of both European and USA species, we tentativelly define all European lookalike USA specimens as forms of palustris.
