Guess the body fooled me
I just thought the orange on the abdomen seemed too dominant. Most of the honey bees - or what I call honey bees - only seem to be black on the abdomen "The abdomen is banded black and tan. " I use a local resource here in Nebraska - Fontenelle Forest Nature Search - that is where that quote is from. They also have photos of fauna & flora that are found in our area.
