Size: about 12 inches diameter
Nest was about 12 inches diameter, and about 15 feet above ground in a 6-inch DBH cedar elm (Ulmus crassifolia). I did not see any bees, but the air temperature was 45 degrees F, and got down to the low 30’s the night before. Approx. 1.6 miles NE of Belmont, Gonzales County, Texas.
