Characters from Arnett Beetles Vol 1 (1)

--Mandible with 1 or 2 large preapical teeth in inner margin.
--Pronotum lacking distinct rounded depressions at middle of base and posterior corners.
--9 or 10 punctate striae.
--Posterior portion of hypomeron extending up to 1/2 distance to mesal edge of procoxa leaving the procoxae open behind.
--Elytra are not truncated, but come to a point.
