Unknown Orange Laced Cicada -
Okanagana
Hams Fork River, Lincoln County, Wyoming, USA
July 4, 2002
Size: 22 mm body only
This cicada was collected at an elevation of 7982 ft. It has distinctive orange on its body. I am hoping that someone out there will be able to lend an ID hand.

Okanagana
Probably O. bella, but similar to various other described species such as O. annulata Davis and O. gibbera Davis (which may be synonyms).

Thanks again
What a fun species to see in the wild. These were on low brush singing loudly in the warm afternoon sun.
