Immature insects or arachnids on ashe juniper trees

Immature insects or arachnids on ashe juniper trees
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
January 13, 2019
Size: 70 microns long
I found MANY of these insects/arachnids? on stems of ashe juniper trees at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. I shot pictures of the male and female tree cones and noticed these "bugs" crawling on the branches. Very small. Shot with a 10x objective on a 200mm macro lens. They walk and appear to have 6 legs but I can't swear they don't have 8. There is this beige variety plus fewer that appear white that also move about on the branches. These appeared to be everywhere on these branches - hundreds or thousands. They appear to me to be an immature form of something. Thank you for your help.
