Bark Louse - Trichadenotecnum

Bark Louse - Trichadenotecnum

This one has me stumped
It resembles Trichadenotecnum but I can find no records from your region. I'll send this along o Dr. Mockford. He has been frozen in for the last few days. Maybe things will thaw out in Illinois soon.

Thanks Diane
After https://zookeys.pensoft.net/article/27640/ came out I contacted Johannes Anonby and he found Trichadenotecnum majus in the same ecozone as me and Trichadenotecnum slossonae in the province but not near where I am so there are records.

Now I really wish I kept the specimen.

Do you have the specimen?
I'd like to see it up close if you do. Working on it.

Loensia
I think I figured out the genus. I know Loensia maculosa has been seen up here but understand species ID is probably not possible from this photo.

No
I don't have the specimen Diane. I'll be back at that location this spring and I will certainly keep an eye out for it. It was only in reviewing photos recently that I understood I have never seen this beast before.
