Size: 7 mm
An Aphrodes on the stem of Solidago. Size measured from specimen - hopefully this may help with species identification.

Aphrodes
Smaller than 6.8 mm, it would be A. bicinctus; larger than 7.0 mm, it would be A. costatus. In between ... sorry!
