Possibly Family Lepidopsocidae Echmepteryx sp> - Echmepteryx

Possibly Family Lepidopsocidae Echmepteryx sp> - Echmepteryx
Naples , Collier County, Florida, USA
January 25, 2019
Size: 1.1 mm
This bark louse was living in sphagnum moss that was hanging from a sand live oak tree in an oak scrub. The louse's body is covered with hairs and its legs are banded. Its frons has a similar pattern to one you (Diane) identified earlier for me as Echmepteryx intermedia.

Dr.Mockford says ...
this is a nymph and he can't get it to species without a close look at the specimen. It is Echmepteryx.

Thank
you so much Diane and Dr. Mockford.
