This looks like Ptenothrix species 3 with distinct light- and dark-colored pigmentation. Found on an outside wall at night adjacent to a mixed conifer/deciduous woodlot.

Indeed, Bob, a new variant of form 1. I'll baptise it tentativelly form 1aa ;-)
I have seen such 2-colour variants (anteriorly dark, posteriorly pale) also in P. maculosa ssp. olympia form 2. Found in your neighbourhood ;-)
