moth eggs
100 Acre Wood, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
October 13, 2018
October 8, 2018: collected eggs from the live BL trap
October 13, 2018: finally took a closer look, 6 eggs total, pink ones and gray ones, eggs appeared the same (except for color) and larvae, as they grew, looked similar
gave them various food options, always good to finally see frass, noted that they ate Leafcup, Polymnia canadensis, but may well have eaten other choices as well

end of October put into fridge

not a good time for eggs to hatch, I've seldom been successful at overwintering larvae
