Orangewing Moth - Mellilla xanthometata - male

Orangewing Moth - Mellilla xanthometata - Male
St. Francis City Park, St. Francis, Cheyenne County, Kansas, USA
August 25, 2017
Found on my car in the campground of St. Francis City Park. I believe this is an orange wing moth (Mellilla xanthometata), but would appreciate confirmation. If it is, since it was found in extreme NW Kansas, it is considerably farther (200+ miles) west than other reports for KS on BG and MPG.
