Merinus laevis? - Merinus laevis

Merinus laevis? - Merinus laevis
Franklin County, Missouri, USA
Size: 25mm
I found this beetle while looking through a stack of lumber in my shop in December 2018 but it was already dead and I don't have a clue how long it had lain there before I happened upon it thus I have no date.
