I'm not sure if this is a European or a Chinese Praying Mantis. Can anybody clue me in?

Neither
I'm leaning towards Stagmomantis (Stagmomantis carolina) due to the wings that don't reach to the tip of the abdomen. There's also the tell-tale black patch on the wings that seems unique. Your specimen also appears to be a female.

P.S. - I'd say your other ID request is the same species.
