Orange Assassin Bug - (Pselliopus barberi ?) - Pselliopus barberi - male - female

Orange Assassin Bug - (Pselliopus barberi ?) - Pselliopus barberi - Male Female
Baton Rouge, Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA
February 17, 2019
Bugs like this were first found by Sean Golden on 2/16/19. On the same tree, this pair was found the next day.
These look to be Orange Assassin Bug - Pselliopus barberi, but would like conformation.
Actually, not sure if "orange" is a description or part of a common name (?).

• They can fly - so adults
• And other activities also suggest adults.

All of these bugs that we have seen were around a few trees that were oozing sap from wounds in the bark of their trunks.
• Honey bees were feeding on the sap and we are wondering if the assassin bugs are hunting the bees ??
• We have not seen any catches or near misses.
• Maybe the colors make them look like bees to help approach?

Likely barberi, but I'm not certain.
