Looks much like Corticotomus, but I am not familiar with CA fauna. Not sure about your other two species.

If the pronotal width is grea

If the pronotal width is greater than the head, it is probably Airora (unless there are Temnoscheila or Tenebroides with this body shape). If it is subequal to the head, other possibilites: separated by whether vertex of head has a median groove (Cylidrella or Nemosoma) or without median groove (Corticotomus or Euschaefferia).

I took some more head shots of these little guys. The head is slightly narrower than the pronotum, and the vertex is does not have a median groove.

However, the species that was drawn to the fallen Giant Sequoia limbs has a subequal head/pronotum and the median groove on the vertex.
