Phyctini - Quasisalebria admixta - female

Phyctini - Quasisalebria admixta - Female
1.3 Miles NW of Camp Wood, Edwards County, Texas, USA
August 21, 2018
Size: apx. 12 mm WL
This specimen is at the University of Guelph and has been placed in a BIN with another two others from the Texas Panhandle which were identified as Salebriaria. It can be seen at TXLEP659-18 in BIN BOLD:ADN9711. When I was preparing the mailer for the specimens, the abdomen fell off of this one. I kept it to dissect.

I asked Anthony W. Thomas to review my dissection since he has dissected so many Salebriarias and he found it similar, but different in many ways. After reviewing it against his Fascicle 15.5 he suggested Quasisalebria admixta or something close as a possibility.

Unfortunately, I compared the DNA and the closest Quasisalebria was Q.fructella at only a 95% match.

genitalia
I compared the genitalia image of this female with the figures in MONA 15.5. The image is somewhat out-of-focus but is a good match for Fig 27c (p. 77) (Q. admixta) in the fascicle. It is definitely NOT Q. fructetella (Fig. 28c)

Thank you Tony. In light of your opinions I am going to ask Kate Perez to take another look at it, if she will. I need some photo deletions first, however and don't want to ask for too many things at once.
