ID Reference?
How did you determine the genus and species for this one?

Dillons
Although my photos do not reveal all the features mentioned in the genus/species description in Dillons, I found enough features to determine the identity. btw, the illustration in Dillons doesn't match the description in Dillons in that the black side elytral maculae join at the rear in the illustration, but the description refers to them as shorter than the sutural macula. Possible error or variability in markings?

Reference
Thanks, Jim. I recommend describing in your messages the distinguishing feature(s) you find in a book so that other people are able to use that info to help ID their own or someone else's images (every BugGuide member has access to the web, but few would have access to any particular book).

Good idea
Thanks for suggesting it, and feel free to ask me for ID details if I forget to give them.
