I think this is a beat-up Lit
I think this is a beat-up Litargus or something else in Mycetophagidae. Not a Leiodid.

Thank you for directing me to the right family. Now I see why I could get any luck with keys for Coloninae (Leiodidae). After reading the article on the nearctic Mycetophagidae written by C.T. Parsons (and based on the range), I think this specimen is a beat-up Litargus tetraspilotus
