Cyclocephala sp.
....maybe a Phyllophaga....

 
Thanks for
the ID, but I am confused. Do you mean it is either genus Cyclocephala, or it isn't, but is instead one of the many Phyllophaga species ? What distinguishes the two genera? Perhaps I can try for a better photo.
