Stream feeding into Mill Pond, Marston Mills County, Massachusetts, USA

Size: 22 mm
Unknown trichoptera, removed from leaf matter casing, a leaf-tube sandwiched between broad, flat pieces of cut leaves. Collected in shallow, slow flow stream, feeding into - and just north of - Mill Pond in Marston Mills, Cape Cod, MA. on Oct. 15, 2018.

Limnephilidae: Nemotaulius hostilis
Hi Jonathan. There is only one species of this genus that occurs in the US. I cannot confirm the ID for sure because I can't see the top of the head. Can you confirm the top of the head has a central dark line and a large dark U-shaped marking going from each side of the labrum to the back of the head?

Cape Cod Trichoptera
Hi Jeffrey, and many thanks for the response! Unfortunately I no longer have the specimen, and these were the only photos taken. I am returning to survey the site soon and - hopefully- will collect another specimen or two.
