black scavenger fly male maybe - Saltella sphondylii

black scavenger fly male maybe - Saltella sphondylii
Ludwig Prarie Preserve, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
May 31, 2018
Size: ~4 mm
This is the fly that resembles a male S. sphondylii. It has narrow abdomen, the same orange marking on its legs, and big bristles at the back of its thorax. I will add a few photos since none of them are super-great.
