bee with black and white striped abdomen - Colletes

bee with black and white striped abdomen - Colletes
Ludwig Preserve, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
August 9, 2018
Size: ~10 mm
The general shape and apparent lack of facial fovea has me thinking this may be a cellophane bee rather than a mining bee, but I don't have much experience with cellophane bee ID. It was feeding on a goldenrod flower at a prairie preserve.

Thanks for determining that this is a cellophane bee, John! I am slowly learning how to tell cellophane bees from mining bees, leafcutter bees and cuckoo-leaf-cutter bees.
