Identification
Similar to two species, both likely undescribed, which don't overlap with it in known range. T. mandarinella has not been recorded west of Houston. The species known from the southern Plains and Southwest is not close in DNA barcode to mandarinella (BOLD:AAE3347); the species found on the Edwards Plateau appears not to have been barcoded.
