Brinn's Basement Spider - Titiotus - Male

Caught 'him' in our basement this morning, it's not the first of its kind to be caught on our property. The last one (sept '04) I let go behind our pump house (plenty of water & insects to eat & places to hide), this one will be put in the same area. Sturctures at end of palps look almost claw-like, palps also have 2 hooks each dorsal to end structures. Would like to know both common and scientific name if possible.

Sorry, looks more like half that. Can't give you a proper ID without a view of the eye arrangement.

Violin

not a recluse
the violin spider or brown recluse has a dark violin and pale body. i did a bit of reserch on them as i just recently moved to central missouri and they run ramped here. But i also found out they have a harmless coppycat this might be it.
