Agaraea semivitrea (New Addition to North American Fauna)
Identified by Ed Knudson who, together with Charles Bordelon, is our foremost authority on lepidoptera of the Rio Grande region. Ed tells me they have a paper in preparation detailing the eight specimens they have encountered since 2005, and would like to add this photo with its supporting date and locality data. Please send photo as an email attachment to eknudson@earthlink.net. I have sharpened the photo in FocusMagic and reposted it here. Great find!
