gray fly with black stripes on thorax

Size: ~8 mm
If I had to make a wild guess on what this fly might be, I'd say a flesh fly since it appears to have 3 black racing stripes on a gray background on its thorax. But I've also seen photos of flies with a striped thorax in totally different groups.

Thanks for identifying this as a flesh fly, John! If I see a gray fly with three black stripes on its thorax from now on, I'll know where to start when wondering what it might be.
