Possibly a Collembolan?

Possibly a Collembolan?
Naples , Collier County, Florida, USA
December 4, 2018
Size: 4.5 mm without furcula
This arthropod was removed from the stomach contents of a cane toad and originally thought to be a dermapteran with very long cerci, but "metrioptera", a contributing editor thought it looked more like a springtail. It's much larger that other collembolans I have found. Next it was sent to the collembolan expert who said it was not a collembolan. He suspected it might be a beetle larva. Unfortunately the antenna and legs are broken off, but the cerci/urogomphi? are intact, very long, and do not appear to have segments. The larva itself appears to have 13 segments.

Dermaptera nymph?
Just a guess, but the shape of the head and eyes make me think that.

Thanks!
That was my original thought too. The cerci are really long, aren't they.

Not Collembola but insect larva
Note more than 9 body segments. The furca looks like cerci to me.
Check the attachment of the cerci/furca : in Collembola ventrally on abd.4. In Insecta terminally on last body segment.

Thank you,
Frans. I didn't think it looked like a collembolan and you are definitely the expert. I've been doing a bit of searching and think it might be a Carabid (Bombardier) larva… Genus Galerita. What do you and others think?

Sorry
but I cannot help you with this one...

Thank
you for helping me eliminate the springtails as a possible ID. I appreciate all of the help!
