Phidippus audax - Male
Okeechobee County, Florida, USA
Adult male reared from offspring of female collected in October.
North FL and surrounding area audax are the largest, most brilliantly colored and marked in NA.
Several hours south of north FL the audax are some of the smallest and least impressive in NA.
This is a recently molted male with typical coloration for the area.
