Size
wingspan 26-38 mm.
Identification
Adult: forewing semitransparent, pale gray with dark veins; diffuse black spot near center of wing; hindwing smaller, paler, and without black spot; abdomen bright yellow/orange with black dorsal spots; top of thorax pale gray/whitish with 3 black longitudinal lines (1 dorsal and 2 dorsolateral)
Range
Southern Texas and Mexico to northern South America.
