Moved from subgenus Blapylis.

this is E parvicollis
evenly arcuate and mediumly punctate pronotum

FWIW -
these images were identified as Eleodes scabrosa by an anonymous teneb specialist on iNaturalist (EleodesThermopolis)... they added:

"The short hairs mostly laterally on the elytra (which may be a little worn down) should not be present for parvicollis (or the similar planata), in this area that is only seen in scabrosa, clavicornis, and maybe constricta. The latter’s pronotum’s constriction is more sudden and abrupt, and clavicornis has a more narrow pronotum, so that would suggest scabrosa. Also, scabriventris is found nearby, and I’m not sure exactly how it looks yet, but considering it is said to be mistakable with consobrina, I doubt this is it".
