This ant was extracted from the stomach contents of a cane toad.

Pretty sure it is Brachymyrmex, but the specimen does look a little rough. Further identification would rely on hairs, which may have not survived the toad stomach.

very much for the confirmation. Yes, the insects inside the cane toad stomachs don't make for the best photogenic subjects. I certainly appreciate the help.
