springtail tomocerus - Tomocerus minor

springtail tomocerus - Tomocerus minor
Albion, Calhoun County, Michigan, USA
March 30, 2019
I think this is Tomocerus minor. The antennae look like a description I saw somewhere in here by Frans Janssens, if I understand the description. At least one of the antennae looks to have an annulated third segment. I'm assuming it is immature because Dr. Janssens says the adults are bluish.

It was sitting on the siding of our workshop. Must have recently come up from the ground around and under the shop (it's a pole barn).

I thought you were allowed to post observations directly if you were certain of the ID. But I am certain this is a springtail, so Collembola it is next time. Thanks.

That's the idea.
Post to your deepest level of certainty--with an emphasis on the certainty. :)
