large gray and green fly

large gray and green fly
Lake Meyer Park, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
April 2, 2019
Size: ~9 mm
This large fly was feeding on sap from a tree wound. It has strongly converging wing veins ending at the wing tip, but I'm not sure if it a blow fly, flesh fly or parasitic fly. My guess would be a blow fly, since the abdomen is a glossy light green, but I have a tough time telling flies apart.

Calliphorinae
Thank you very much for narrowing this neat fly down to the subfamily Calliphorinae, John! That will help me learn a lot more about the flies in my area that are out in early spring.
