Size: ~7 mm
This fly reminds me of a dung fly with its general size and shape, but the wings have no dark marks. Maybe a root-maggot fly? It seems to be in the superfamily Muscoidea with parallel wing veins ending at the tip, but I couldn't find any close matches as I scanned through Muscoidea.
