Sitticus concolor - Attinella concolor - female

Sitticus concolor - Attinella concolor - Female
Licking County, Ohio, USA
June 7, 2007
Size: 3.0mm
Found hiding under the rocky gravel behind my barn and photographed in captivity. She made an egg sac that eventually produced twelve 2nd-instar spiderlings, which I released. IIRC, the spiderlings were very odd-looking in that they had unusually large and dark palps.
