Homalonychus female - Homalonychus - female

Homalonychus female - Homalonychus - Female
Pima Wash, Lake Havasu City, Mohave County, Arizona, USA
March 31, 2019
Size: 7 mm
David Vander Pluym found this adult female under a rock and sent it to me for ID. I took some live photos of the chilled spider a few days later and preserved it as a specimen - it had molted once in captivity. This is an area of overlap between the two species and the genitalia are apparently quite variable.
