Characters listed below from "The North American Cerylonidae" (1) to validate the identification as I keyed it out (I'm not an expert on this family, species or genus).

Head
-- Clypeus shallowly emarginate.
-- Frontoclypeal suture absent.
-- Antennae 10-segmented with 1-segmented club.
Thorax
-- Prosternum without antennal cavities.
-- Intercoxal process of prosternum strongly widened posteriorly.
Abdomen
-- Apex of last ventrite always strongly crenulate.
