Spider with larval prey - Xysticus - male

Spider with larval prey - Xysticus - Male
Sand Springs, Osage County, Oklahoma, USA
January 13, 2008
Size: 6mm (1/4")
Found on the underside of a rock. I believe this is a crab spider male with a larva prey. Please help with ID on both critters. The fourth pic shows the larva better.

it's Poecilus vs. Pterostichus -- can't see the key feature
(opinion of Kirill Makarov on the larva)

Larva.
Larva is probably that of a ground beetle (family Carabidae), or rove beetle (Staphylinidae).

....
Is there a way to positively tell from the pic ?
I would like to place the last pic, of just the larva, where it should go in the guide.

crab spider
possibly Xysticus?

yes
subadult male.
