4/11/19 Paectes moth - Paectes
Randolph County, Alabama, USA
April 11, 2019
caught my attention because was small .9 inches

Moved to Paectes for expert attention.

small Paectes
Maybe the Pygmy Paectes
One characteristic is a white fringe on the hindwing, if you have a picture of that

Believe I found Pygmy Paectes
Since 4/11 when you said I needed the hindwings I've been looking. Just submitted one tonight 5/1 if you'll look at it. Thanks

Looking at Pygmy Paectes phot
Looking at Pygmy Paectes photos here I see what you mean. My other photos of this moth are same but I notice where the double band of horizontal lines at bottom end - there is a tiny piece of the hindwing showing. Believe I can see a white fringe at bottom. Even if this is not enough to be sure I appreciate your ID tip and will be on watchout for another specimen here to get more of it's hindwing. Thanks.
