Thanks Bob. I was thinking that this was C. unifascia because the dark areas on the forewing are connected. How do you make the distinction between C. unifascia and C. tenuifascia?

 
Species ID
Chuck Sexton has done quite a bit of work updating the info pages and organizing images in this genus. If you check the info for these two species, you can see the difference. You can also check his Key to Texas sp., whenever you need to look one up, over there.
What is important is not that the the patches connect, but the shape of the PM line or the shape of the apex of the basel patch. Also, I noticed that unifascia usually has banded legs.
