Request confirmation due to similarity to P. occidentalis. Any ID assistance appreciated. Nectaring on low growing wildflower at South Campground.

Cannot ID for sure
This individual was well within the likely range for Checkered White and very near the edge of the likely range for Western White. Out of conservatism we should probably keep this at genus. An expert who works in that specific region may be able to separate them there, but I certainly cannot.
