Mayfield, Ohio, US, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA
April 18, 2019
Size: over 2 cm
Collected in a rotting log on the forest floor; there were other identical larvae (same tail shape) in the same log, so I don't think it's just an injured specimen.

Might be something in that neighborhood, at least. The beetle experts will know.
