Clivina dentipes Dejean
Clivina dentipes Dejean is my physical determination for this specimen which is added to the PWM synoptic set of North American Caraboidea. Thank you Margarethe.

I had this under Semiclivina dentipes
which is more current and valid?

See current usage on BugGuide
which I think follows Bousquet 2012 where Semiclivina is a subgenus. I am aware of Eurasian authors placing it at genus level.

Okay, before we use it in the
Arizona Beetle Book, Art Evans and I will have to do some exploring

Please also follow BugGuide's discussion
here regarding the rank of Semicilvina.

Okay
so it's really not clearly decided and Vassili left it as it was
