Brachinus elongatulus Chaudoir
Brachinus elongatulus Chaudoir is my physical determination for this male specimen which is added to the PWM synoptic set of North American Caraboidea. Median lobe of the genitalia is consistent with the description by Terry Erwin (1970). This is the Arizonan Brachinus I most frequently encounter. Thank you Margarethe.

Moved
Moved from Ground Beetles.

I'm unable to reliably determine species from the photos
of most Arizona caraboids including this one of genus Brachinus. Otherwise, thanks for saving specimens for my physical determinations.
