Looks like you may be right but it is a bit East of the MPG range. I wish you had a body and hind wing view. That would help. Did you look at the plant list to see if you have some of the host plants? Nice find.

 
Ann - I didn't even realize i
Ann - I didn't even realize it was a Sphinx when I took the photo. Too bad, as they will typically let you move them about for a hind wing photo. We do have about 6 Prunus trees around the house - Prunus mexicana and Prunus texana. So S. Cheris might be attracted to here. I'll watch for another.
