Lady beetle pupa?
Ocracoke, Hyde County, North Carolina, USA

Seen near Vedalia Beetle, Cycloneda munda, and Cycloneda sanguinea adults and pupae on garden plant w/ aphids. Could it be a victim of a fungus?
