Crane Fly Wasp? - Macrocera

Crane Fly Wasp? - Macrocera
Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, USA
April 22, 2019
Size: ~1cm
The antennae are completely wrong for a crane fly, as far as I know.. The mesonotum(?) looks just like many I've seen on crane flies, and the wings are spread out like you'd see on one. The legs are long, and start orange, then turn black at the end. I'm also uncertain as to whether crane flies have ocelli, which can be seen in some images here.
