Skittish Grasshopper
St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, Leon County, Florida, USA

Size: 10 mm
This little guy was hard to photograph, so sorry for the poor quality. Its camouflage was perfect for its environment, and it was hard to track with a naked eye. Every time I was able to locate it and get near, it would be off again. It took me 15 minutes to get two shots. Observed it in a flat-wood pine forest.
